  • The Chakra System & YOU

    The Chakra System & YOU

The chakra system is an invaluable tool for aligning your energy understanding them is the key to enhancing how you feel as you move through your day.

The word “chakra” comes from Sanskrit, and means “disk” or “wheel.” Chakras are energy centers in the body that correlate to certain psycho-emotional functions. They each correspond to certain nerve bundles and major organs in the body.

From root to the crown – there are seven points scattered across our body that are a major highway for energy to flow. These seven spaces are called chakras and through these, we receive and send out all kinds of emotional, spiritual, and physical energy. The aim is to have all the seven chakra points open and unblocked so we can stand in balance, be open to opportunity, and make sure we are thriving and living a life of our highest potential.

Our office now offers “Quick Chakra Balancing with Essential Oils”

  • What is a lymphatic massage and what are the benefits?

What is a lymphatic massage and what are the benefits?

Lymphatic Massage is a customized form of bodywork. Lymphatic massage may help the lymph system better itself and with ongoing treatment patients notice improving results.

By understanding the anatomy and functionality of this system, your massage therapist can assist your body in clearing stagnant tissues of waste and swelling.

Though lymph vessels are found throughout the body, most are found just below the skin.

These delicate vessels work to pick up fluids between the cell spaces when gentle pressure is applied to them from increased fluid build-up, muscle contractions, or the pressure of a therapist’s hands. By using very light pressures in a rhythmic, circular motion, a massage therapist can stimulate the lymph system to work more efficiently and effectively to help move the lymph fluid.

Lymph massage can also be part of a care program for fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. Because it’s so gentle, it is well tolerated by these patients, who are often experiencing sore trigger points throughout the body. And by encouraging lymph flow and removing waste products, this gentle form of bodywork can help restore immune function and improve vitality.

What lymphatic massage services we provide:

    Face and Neck

Lymphatic massage on the face and neck can stimulate the circulation, boost the immune system and enhance skin health providing a more youthful and slimming appearance.

This massage helps with congestion, puffy eyes, dull skin and wrinkles to promote a contouring effect and revitalize the skin.

    Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This is a customized massage to help the lymphatic system work better to alleviate swelling, advance healing, reduce scarring, reduce pain levels and boost the immune system.

Lymphatic drainage is helpful for body rejuvenation, work out recovery and for more serious reasons such as sports injuries, post-surgical relief, persons undergoing ongoing medical treatments, autoimmune patients and more.

Learn for yourself the many benefits of receiving a Lymphatic Drainage Massage by making an appointment for one of our services.

  • It is important that the Heart is Healthy and Protected

It is important that the Heart is Healthy and Protected

In Eastern medicine, the Heart is considered to be our center. A very different approach to the brain behind the center in Western medicine.

The Heart is like the Emperor/ess that sits in the thrown and watches to ensure all the functions run smoothly in the land/ body. If the Emperor/ess is distressed this can create distress/ dis-ease in all the other systems of the body/ land.

It is important that the Heart is healthy and protected. If you wanted to see the Emperor/ess, you would have to go through a series of gates and guards who protect the Heart. This function is called the Heart Protector. If the Heart Protector is weak or tired then it cannot protect the Empower/ess from outside havoc and stressors. This can lead to dis-ease and stressors on the whole lay of the land and organ systems and waste precious vitality, leading to illnesses from fatigue to migraines, depression to anxiety, and aggravating underlying conditions that contribute to disease.

This month we focus on Wellness, from the center of our Hearts to all our loved ones.

By balancing the bodily system with a healthy diet, exercise, getting enough sleep, performing de-stressors; such as walks, meditation, time with a hobby of choice along with meeting your daily vitamin intake requirements, routine acupuncture & massage therapy, it is possible to feel better and “protected.”
